Confidentiality
Every send is encrypted with OpenPGP and the keys are held in AWS KMS, with restricted and audited access. Only authorised recipients can open it.
Nkripta encrypts your files and messages with OpenPGP and protects the keys with AWS KMS. You decide who gets access, for how long, and you can revoke it whenever you want.
Why Nkripta
Sensitive information is shared every day through channels that aren't built to protect it. Nkripta changes that.
Every send is encrypted with OpenPGP and the keys are held in AWS KMS, with restricted and audited access. Only authorised recipients can open it.
Set when access expires, invalidate the URL at any time, and require additional verification from the recipient.
A clear experience for both the sender and the recipient. No ambiguity, no unnecessary friction.
How it works
Upload the file or write the message you need to protect. Nkripta encrypts it automatically when you send it.
Set who can access it, for how long, and whether additional verification is required. You're in control.
The recipient gets a secure link. You can revoke it or check when it was accessed at any point.
Who it's for
Contracts, payroll, NDAs. Information that requires a level of protection that email simply doesn't offer.
Procedures, records, resolutions. Nkripta helps meet compliance requirements without sacrificing operational agility.
Confidentiality is part of your professional ethics. Nkripta is the tool that lives up to that standard.
Security without compromise
Every technical decision in Nkripta starts from one premise: your information should only be within reach of the people you authorise.
Decryption keys are never stored in plain text: they are encrypted with AWS KMS, and every access is controlled and logged.
Designed from the ground up for privacy by design and by default. Infrastructure hosted within the EU.
Invalidate access to any send in real time from your dashboard, no need to contact the recipient.

FAQ
Sends are encrypted using AWS KMS, and access to the decryption keys is strictly controlled and audited. This is not end-to-end encryption: the service handles the encryption itself, but limits and logs any access to content to minimize risk.
Access is granted through a single-use code sent by email to the recipient, with automatic expiration and protection against brute-force attempts. Once the code is used, the link is no longer valid.
All of Nkripta's infrastructure is hosted in the European Union (Ireland), and we work continuously to align with GDPR requirements, including the right to erasure. Contact us if you need compliance details for your organization.
Encrypted email requires both parties to set up keys and certificates. With Nkripta, the recipient needs no account and installs nothing. They receive a secure link and access it using the verification you defined.
Contact us if you need to integrate Nkripta with your existing systems: for Teams and Enterprise plans, we work with your team to assess the technical scope and available integration options for your use case.
On Standard and Ultimate plans, you can manage and cancel your subscription directly from your account settings, with no penalties. On Teams and Enterprise plans, your account manager helps you adjust or cancel the plan as agreed.
Yes. You can set an expiration date for each send; once it's reached, the content automatically becomes unavailable, reducing how long the information stays exposed.
The speed of a send depends mainly on your network's upload connection, which is usually much slower than its download speed. On top of that, two common situations slow it down considerably: attaching files straight from a network folder (a Samba/SMB server, a NAS or a shared drive), because each file first has to travel from that server to your computer while it is being uploaded to Nkripta; and going out to the internet through a corporate firewall, proxy or antivirus that inspects encrypted traffic, since it analyses every fragment before letting it through. To speed up your sends, copy the files to your computer first and ask your IT department to exclude the Nkripta and Amazon S3 (amazonaws.com) domains from inspection. With files of several GB, once the upload has finished the send may take a few more minutes to become available while it is being encrypted.
